Description: You really have to go see this parcel, it is kind of a WOW! Enormous 160-acres. Flat area consisting of several acres nestled in the middle of mountains jutting up out of the desert floor on three sides. Private and hidden away, but located near civilization, maybe half a mile from homes and the I-10. Great investment opportunity because this parcel is close-in, not in the middle of nowhere. In the Whitewater area west of the fashionable resorts of Palm Springs and a couple of minutes from the Morongo Casino and Cabazon Outlets. This acreage is adjacent to Morongo Indian Reservation land but is privately owned fee land, not Indian land. It would make a great horse ranch!
Driving Directions: Accessible in any car but you will have an easier time with the rocks and sand if you take the 4WD. From I-10, exit at Haugen-Lehman. Take Tamarack Rd west. When Tamarack dead ends, turn right on Rushmore Ave. Turn left on Penland Rd. Pass the intersection of Penland and Centurian, leave the pavement, and continue straight on dirt Penland Rd. Go 0.4 mile to the big towers. Turn right on a dirt road. After 0.2 mile you’ll see a tall white stake on the right with a pink rock at the bottom. Continue past that for another block or so and you will see a rock pillar on the left and a concrete pillar on the right. That’s the entrance to this land and the southern boundary. Take the aerial map.
